Obedience Training
All service dogs must start with basic obedience training. Commands like sit, stay, heel, and focus. These skills serve as the foundation for our more advanced training.
Task Training
Depending on the type of service dog needed, specialized tasks are taught. Tasks such as item retrievals, blocking, behavior interruption's, hearing assistance, etc.
Public Access Training
Dogs must already have taken our obedience training program (or have their CGC for new clients).
In this program we focus on making sure your service dog is comfortable in various social situations and public spaces. They learn to settle and adapt around varying environments and people to ensure they behave appropriately when accompanying you in public.
This program covers obedience training, public access training, and can also include beginning task training. This program is designed to jumpstart your dog as well as provide you, the handler, with the necessary skills and knowledge to train your own service dogs along with help from our professional trainers.
This program is ideal for owner trainers who are comfortable training their own dog, but not ready to train the dog from the ground up. The foundation put on your dog during the program makes it much easier to continue training and build upon that foundation.
